Online Classifed Ads Can Help You Build Your eMail List

January 29, 2009 by Jerry Hart · Leave a Comment

Ensure that you’re visible to the world. Online classified ads strategy is still one of the most popular and effective approaches I know that leverages free Ads for more qualified traffic, hence building your list!!

The real key to your success in the online classified ads is all about how to format your classified ads to grab the reader’s attention. Watch the video than if you’re fired up..come back and read these following tips to dial those puppies in so they work for you while your working on your business.

If you know how to use classified ads effectively, you will be able to drive traffic to your affiliate sites without spending a dime.

1. Keep the ad simple. Don’t try to sell anything. You are trying to get clicks and drive traffic to websites. Your goal is to arouse curiosity in the readers’ mind and urge them to click on the link that takes to the landing page of the affiliate sites.

2. Create a compelling header. This is the first line a reader scans. It should grab her attention immediately. If it cannot attract her like a magnet, she will not read the rest of your ad description. Don’t write the type of headers that thousand other ads have in the classified site. Make it compelling and create a psychological trigger. To get the most clicks from your ad, use words like “cheap”, “free”, “proven” and “shocking”.

3. The next step in creating your ad is the first two sentences of the ad itself. According to many experts, the best way to make your ad appealing is to state a quantifiable benefit in these two lines. This benefit should make the reader recognize right away that they have come to the right place. A good way to do this is to tell the reader exactly what solution your product offers them.

4. The third sentence of your ad should be about a crucial feature of your product. This can be a unique selling point. The purpose is to draw the reader into clicking through now to find out the details and price of the offer. Just remember to keep the ad as simple as you can. The goal when advertising with classified ads is to use as few words as you can to achieve the greatest results.

5. Next you will need places to post your new ads to. The criteria here is to find places that will allow free classified ads that get large amounts of traffic themselves. Use Google and search using key words “free classifieds”, “free ads”, “free business ads”. Use the first two pages of Google listing and start visiting each site. Use sites that are simple and easy to use and keep a listing of those sites in you browser’s favorites.

6. Don’t forget to put a link in your ad. The link will take users to your affiliate site when they click it. Use classified sites that have an input box for URL. Put your link starting with http. If the site does not have an URL box in the ad submission page, just forget it unless you know the html syntax of a link.

7. Don’t spam the free classified sites by posting ads in irrelevant categories. You can post as many ads as you want but post only in a few relevant categories. If the site does not allow you to post multiple ads, there is no need to visit the site for the second time.

8. Use pictures or banners in your ad. If the classified site does not have a picture upload feature, you should give a second thought if you really want to use the site for your promotion. You can use it if the site gets lots of traffic.

Pull it up from your soul and get it up on the Web

Sites without RSS feeds are your ticket to a Blogosphere Scoop - Audio Quickie

January 29, 2009 by Jerry Hart · Leave a Comment

There is a fact about internet marketing that I know is more than just my opinion. It’s… “be the one to introduce interesting new sources to the feed readers of the world, and drive new buyers into your site, everyone wins”. So here’s the steps to get your head around the rules and steps to starting a blogosphere “Scoop”

In some cases, readers provide a link for your readers to investigate or expand upon. Your blog readers are the heart and soul of the blog conversation and will often give you great leads to follow. Even emails [Google Alerts] may yield insights that can lead to informative posts. As your blog becomes more popular, you’ll find that your readers will send you related items to post on. My recommendation is to peruse those few key sites that contain information vital to your industries editorial arena that does not issue RSS feeds. That’s the hook of my post here today, no RSS feeds is an opportunity for you.

If you are a regular visitor, and discover new material there, there is a chance that it hasn’t been posted on yet, and you can have a blogosphere, “scoop”. I love those sites that the other bloggers aren’t paying close attention to.

The short of this strategy is: focus on finding source material that is not being readily fed into the RSS ecosystem. That can mean avoiding blogs, and news and magazine sites that offer syndicated feeds altogether. This is where your personal expertise comes in handy; you can probably find a treasure trove of sites that don’t offer feeds in your area of interest.

You should be the person to introduce those ideas to the blogosphere. The proper (and considerate) protocol is to write some brief commentary – perhaps quote small sections of these writings – and without exception link back to the original sources.

If you can be the one to introduce interesting new sources to the feed readers of the world, and drive new buyers into your site, everyone wins.

At this stage, you may have identified some time-sensitive items that should be blogged about ASAP.

If you do, get those up immediately. If not, continue on to gather more possible editorial fodder.

Share your thoughts?

Build a Better Brand and Improve your Credibility, Sales and Loyalty

January 29, 2009 by Jerry Hart · Leave a Comment

Building your brand will create credibility, implies trustworthiness, and should make your business name synonymous with the product or service that you sell. Here are just a few tips to building your brand online:

1. Website
# Your branding, and design, should be consistent - online and offline! Make sure people will recognise you as the same company, whether they visit your blog, or happen to see your television advertisement - in other words make sure your online branding efforts reflect your offline branding in all aspects.
# Choose your domain name very carefully! Your domain name is the name of your e-commerce store, or website, and can very effectively reflect your brand. If your company name is not available as a domain name then select a name that is easy to remember (and spell), and if possible highlight the type of product or service you provide.
# Advertise your online brand offline - encourage visitors to visit your website with clever advertising, competitions, online registration for new product updates and so on.
