Personal development - the inner game

December 10, 2008 by Jeffrey Howard

We all run into personal growth challenges from time to time. We are seeking self-improvement, better health, happiness and more often than not, when we fall short of our target goals in the personal development arena, it’s all about our “inner game,” not some outside circumstance.

When was the last time you complained about things being tough in your life and having to overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle? If you really stop to think about your life, are you dealing with major challenges or most of them perceptions based on your emotional state in that moment?

Next time you think you’ve having a bad day or having trouble achieving a goal or life just feels “hard,” consider the story of Carl Joseph. He is a shining example of the FACT that you can accomplish virtually anything you set your mind to. Carl Joseph was recently inducted into the Florida High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He was a varsity athelete in football, basketball and track. He was an inspiration to some to today’s greatest athletes. He is an inspiration to me. Not because of these accomplishments but because they achieve all this having been BORN WITH ONLY ONE LEG!

And by the way, this video was posted about two weeks ago and already had over 62,000 views as of today. How’s that for a Social Media Explosion?
